The Real-Time Guest Experience
One of the most incredible elements of this live portrait experience is the interactive nature of the studio. My camera is connected directly to a large viewing monitor rather than just the tiny screen on the back of a camera body.
Because I love interacting with people, my personality instantly puts guests at ease. They get to step up, have their portrait taken, and immediately view it on a large screen. They can tell me right then and there, "I love this!" or "Can you edit this side a little bit more?" which I am able to do on the spot.
At recent events, guests kept repeating that this was the most fun thing they had ever done at a wedding reception. In fact, people loved their images so much that they kept coming back multiple times throughout the night to get more portraits taken.
To make it even more seamless, the experience does not end with a physical print. Luxe Event Portraits includes a live digital gallery. While my studio is based in Florida, I am fully equipped to travel anywhere in the world to bring this experience to your venue. For Marielle and Robert's celebration, I packed up and traveled all the way to South Bend, Indiana, proving that luxury guest portraits have no geographic limits.
The Cocktail Hour Add-On
Marielle loved the high-fashion black and white aesthetic but wanted a high-energy photo booth strip vibe specifically for her cocktail hour to get the party started. We designed a special cocktail hour add-on for her. I was personally there holding the camera, interacting with guests, and posing them. However, because photo strips have to be generated and printed incredibly fast, we utilized my specialized photo booth software to build the strips instantly. Because of the multiple photos at a time required for strips, I was only able to use skin-smoothing for this portion rather than my deep manual editing software.
It completely made the cocktail hour! The time flew by, and we created a inclded a strip guest book using those photo strips where everyone signed. It was also the perfect opportunity for me to talk to the guests and get them incredibly excited for what was waiting for them at the reception.
The Grand Reception Reveal
When guests entered the reception, the experience upgraded to the full Luxe Event Portrait experience. Instead of a plain backdrop, Marielle worked with her team to create a breathtaking setup featuring rich, fancy material textures paired with a massive, luxury floral arrangement.
Here, guests received the full-scale luxury treatment. I manually edited every single portrait to absolute perfection, printing large, gorgeous 4x6 fine-art prints for them to take home. To complement her beautiful floral set, I even created a gorgeous, custom-designed tabletop sign specifically for Marielle displaying her unique gallery QR code. Her guests absolutely loved the luxury of walking away with a premium physical print in one hand, and their digital file already saved to their camera roll in the other.
Because we did the strips earlier, Marielle actually walked away with two separate guest books, one from the cocktail hour strips and a stunning, custom-embossed keepsake album from the reception portraits.
